US FIGURE SKATING MUSEUM AND HALL OF FAME

My team and I were privilaged to be invited to view the US Figure Skating Museum and Hall Of Fame which is situated in Colorado Springs, also the host of the 2010 ISU SYNCHRONISED ICE SKATING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS !!

We had a superb time viewing the museum!! Who knew that Andy Warhol has even done portraits of some of the famous solo skaters.. The museum had even set up a new exhibition especially for Synchro skating and we managed to find a South African Badge in their chest of Skating Badges :)
The sun shone outside although the altitude was high it truely was a beautiful first day!

Team Sunthings leaving Cape Town, full of smiles to compete at the 2010 ISU SYNCHRONISED ICE SKATING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS hosted by COLORADO SPRINGS, USA from 9-10 April!!

We left 4th April! 48 hours of travelling later we arrived at the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in Colorado and were welcomed with Hot Choc Chip cookies and a beutiful room! We had only 3-4 hours of sleep before our first practise!! :O

One week prior to Worlds : DISKI DANCE WORKSHOP!

One week prior to our trip oversea's Team Sunthings were given an instruction of the new DISKI DANCE , which is the Official 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup dance. Our team had a lot of laughs and went all out to try convince the Instructor that we were the "A-Team." I think we will be quite ready to shout " LADUMA" by June! :)
